Sunday, lovely Sunday

Paul Scholes

Sunday was a good day. I slept late, had a nice brunch and played some Madden NFL 2006. Then I watched one of the highlights of my year, the football match between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford. I have been a Manchester United supporter for the last 12 years, ever since I watched Eric Cantona perform his magic on the pitch when i was 14 years old. And nothing pleases me more that to see Man U beat Liverpool. Although the game yesterday wasn’t as tense and full of emotion and incidents as it normally is between these two teams, it was still a great game of football and when Paul Scholes scored the first goal of the game, in his 500th match for Man U, my day went from good to great! Rio Ferdinand sealed the win
in the 2nd half with a great left-foot strike and put us back on top of the Premiership log. Go Red Devils!!
